“You had us at ‘blog'”
-The “New York Times”
Hi and welcome to me. My name is Sarah. I am native of Texas, transplanted to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, all for the sake of love. I felt compelled to let the world get to know me because Gandhi said that we are all supposed to do something insignificant in our lives, but it is important that we do it. Here’s my insignificant thing. Yeah, I just quoted Gandhi… *mic drop*
I’ve been putting the “blah” in blog since 2012, and though I went on a deleting spree in 2015 in order to completely start from scratch, it’s still the same old me! This is a place for me to write my inner musings, share my style tips and travel adventures, talk about my relationship, attempt a DIY or recipe, and just chit chat. This is my online diary where I present the coolest version of myself (which is total bullshit because I’m not actually cool). Mostly though, this is a way for me to stay in touch with all of the important people in my life (hi, mom and dad!). If for any reason you don’t like this blog, don’t read it¯\_(ツ)_/¯. K BYEEE.
Behind the camera is my husband, Joel. He also does all of my coding and important nerd stuff that I’m too busy (dumb? lazy?) to figure out here on TWSS. He is a sexy engineer and PA native who snagged himself a Texan simply by being the best. Read more of our story here.
In February of 2017, I asked my vivacious cousin, Christina, to join TWSS as a contributor. She is the most positive, color-loving lady I’ve ever known with a serious need for an outlet. Christina lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband, Brandon, and two cutie pie kiddos, Thomas and Charlotte. Christina is famous for busting a move literally anywhere as long as she likes the song that’s playing. When her high school dance team instincts kick in, she will do the jump splits for all to see and enjoy. You’re gonna love her!
Welcome to That’s What She Said 2.0; a blog by ladies for ladies!
