Might As Well Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are not a new trend… not by a long shot, but they’re new to me and I’m obsessed. As of this year, I am now the proud owner of 5 jumpsuits; 3 of which are all black.

The reason it took me so long to jump into a jumpsuit is because of my weirdly long torso. Being 5’7″, which is technically “tall”, my leg to torso ratio is pretty off which almost always leads to a bad case of camel toe when I wear rompers. Lately, though, I’ve been finding jumpsuits and rompers that cinch at my “true waist” and have enough room for the rest of me to squeeze in comfortably. It’s pretty cool. Pretty pretty… pretty cool.

I wore this floral ASOS jumpsuit to Emo Night last Friday night which was perfect for dancing around to people singing the likes of Hawthrone Heights, My Chemical Romance, and Say Anything. Seriously, if you live in Pittsburgh you have to go to emo karaoke at least once. We’ll be going to as many as we can!

I like to rate my jumpsuits by how easily I can get in and out of them to go to the bathroom. This one gets an 8 out of 10 (10 being the easiest) because it does have a few buttons to undo before it can get shimmied out of…. I definitely have at least one jumpsuit in my closet that gets a 1 because of its awkward zipper placement, but I wear it anyway because once it’s on, it’s worth it.

    1. I know! I got a one piece this year (for the first time since I was like 7) and it doesn’t exactly buckle in the back
